Dame Cindy recently hosted staff from Wellington City Mission at Government House Wellington. Staff enjoyed a tour of the house before meeting with Dame Cindy (and Pebbles and Lucy).
Wellington City Mission has been a fixture of the Wellington community for over a century. They provide a range of services to those that need it including necessities like a warm shower, a bed to sleep in and a cooked meal.
Wellington City Mission has long been a cause close to Dame Cindy’s heart, and she enjoyed the opportunity to talk to staff about the important work that they do.
