Dame Cindy hosted a reception at Government House Auckland to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Te Papa Foundation Foundation.
Te Papa Foundation works to preserve our precious national taonga and funds world-leading research. The careful preservation of our history, culture and natural flora and fauna is so crucial to our sense of identity as New Zealanders.
Guests were treated to a presentation from Te Papa’s Curator of Botany Dr Carlos Lehnebach about the vital work being undertaken to document, care for and protect our beautiful botanical taonga.
