At this afternoon’s investiture ceremony, twelve more recipients were acknowledged for their exceptional service and achievement.
Ms Robyn Hunt, ONZM, received the insignia of a companion of the King’s Service Order for services to people with disabilities and the arts. Three recipients received the insignia of an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit: Dr Michael Johnstone for services to education; Mr Earle Kirton for services to rugby; and Dr Fiona Pardington for services to photography.
Other outstanding New Zealanders were recognised for their contributions to documentary filmmaking, wildlife conservation and Search and Rescue, education, art, and the community.
