Dr Claire McLintock, of Auckland, ONZM for services to haematology and obstetrics
Dr Claire McLintock is a haematologist and obstetric physician at National Women’s Health, Auckland City Hospital and was previously Clinical Director for Regional Maternity Services. She has focused on caring for women with disorders of thrombosis and haemostasis, and medical disorders in pregnancy. She is President of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis and Past President of the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. She is on the Council of the Asia Pacific Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. She chaired the Maternal Mortality Working Group of the New Zealand Perinatal and Maternal Mortality Review Committee. Dr McLintock has lectured in dozens of medical conferences and sits on several expert international panels and advisory boards.
