This afternoon, eleven Honours recipients received their insignia from Dame Cindy at Government House. Prominent food scientist Dr Harjinder Singh, CNZM was recognised for his ground-breaking research, which has been translated into commercial applications. Other recipients received insignia recognising their outstanding contributions to education, mental health, swimming, communities, sport, Māori art and music, Victim Support, youth and the Baptist movement.
