Congratulations to the thirteen outstanding New Zealanders who received their Honours insignia at this morning's investiture ceremony at Government House. They included founder of Air Rarotonga Sir Ewan Smith, KNZM, who was knighted for his services to Cook Islands business and tourism, former MP Ian McKelvie, MNZM, and Olympic gold-medalist cyclist Ellesse Andrews. Other recipients were honoured for their services to emergency services, search and rescue, the agricultural industry and governance, fire-safety technologies, mental health, the community, and textiles history and conservation.
