Ms Shelley Katae, of Auckland, MNZM for services to Māori and Pacific communities
Shelley Katae (Te Rarawa, Ngāti Porou) is the Chief Executive of Tāmaki Regeneration Company, which is dedicated to providing healthy homes and employment and upgrading the Glen Innes, Panmure, Point England and East Auckland streets, parks and town centres. Ms Katae has held several roles with the organisation, including General Manager of Strategy and Performance. She helped establish the Own It programme to allow Māori and Pacific families to own their homes. She is a member of the National Hauora Coalition Board and chairs its Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. Ms Katae is a member of the Taupō Moana Holdings Limited Board and Aktive Auckland Sport and Recreation Board.
