Mrs Liz Graham, of Hastings, MNZM for services to Māori and education
Liz Graham (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Toroiwaho) is a teacher at Te Aute College and has been a member of the school’s Board of Trustees, Trust Board and senior leadership team. She is the caretaker of Te Kawa o te Marae. She has been Chair of Tamatea Taiwhenua and represented Pukehou marae on the Heretaunga and Tamatea pre-treaty settlement committee. She was Chair of the Heretaunga Tamatea Settlement Trust. She is the Secretary and leads the catering of Ōtane Sports Club. Mrs Graham is a director of Kāweka Gwavas Forest Trust, which holds the Kaweka and Gwavas Crown Forest lands for Heretaunga, Tamatea and Ahuriri.
