Mrs Anne McCracken, of Invercargill, KSM for services to the community
Anne McCracken has supported numerous community projects in Western Southland. As a Waiau Health Trust Director, she campaigned for improved rural health support. She is an Executive committee member of Southland Medical Foundation. She has been Secretary and Vice President of the Borland Lodge Adventure and Education Trust and President of the Southland Women’s Club. She served on the Southland District Council and the Southland Conservation Board. She was President of the Southland Art Society. Mrs McCracken has coordinated the Dictionaries in Schools project for Invercargill North Rotary Club and has volunteered for the Invercargill Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
