Mrs Pene Frost, of Auckland, KSM for services to children and social work
Mrs Pene Frost is Auckland Regional Manager for the Stand Children’s Services – Tū Maia Whānau. She has mentored new Māori, Pacific and overseas social work students into the profession. Her roles have spanned residential social work, family social work, parent education, training and management. She has maintained a relationship with Panmure Medical Centre to support the health needs of tamariki. She is a member of the East Health Trust PHO, the Otahuhu Oranga Tamariki Care and Protection Panel, and the Social Work Stakeholders’ Advisory Group at Manukau Institute of Technology. Mrs Frost has been involved with Pakuranga Masonic Lodge.
