Mrs Ena Polima, of Auckland, KSM for services to the Niuean community
Mrs Ena Polima helped several Niue Language Nests gain licensing certification and co-established Vagahau Niue Trust. She has supported Niuean faith spaces across Auckland and volunteered her time to many local events. She is a founding member of Kautaha Aoga Niue and her village’s Tuapa Uhomotu Trust. She established the support group Anapekepeka Senior Citizens West Auckland. She broadcasts to the Niuean community on Radio Pekapeka. She is involved with the Niue Sports Association and supports the Niuean Retired Services Association. Mrs Polima is part of the Niue Language Writers Group and has helped to create the Niue Bilingual Thesaurus.
