Mr Peter Maunder of Paeroa, KSM for services to athletics
Mr Peter Maunder has officiated at athletics meets since the 1970s. With the Scottish Harriers, he served as Secretary, Handicapper and Honorary Surveyor to the Centre. He served on the Karori Athletics Club Committee and chaired the Wellington Junior Committee, Track and Field Committee and Centre Committee. He was a Newtown Park Commission committee member and officiated each weekend at the Park throughout the track season. He has officiated at national and international championships and other premier athletics events. He is an internationally qualified road race course measurer. Mr Maunder is a Life Member of Athletics Wellington.
