Mr David Drake, of Rolleston, KSM for services to the community
Mr David Drake has been a Rotary Club member for almost 50 years, holding several administration and leadership roles. He coordinated a major charity auction for Bone Marrow Cancer Trust’s Ranui House in Christchurch. He was District Governor of Rotary International District 9970, overseeing community assistance projects following the Canterbury earthquakes. He has travelled to Fiji to build Rotahomes. He is the coordinator for the Lincoln Rotary Primary Schools Quiz. Mr Drake was the South Island District Chair for the Rotary Friendship Exchange Programme and is Coordinator for the Bill and Lorna Boyd Trust ‘Dictionaries in Schools’ project.
