Senior Constable Grant Watts, of Palmerston North, MNZM for services to the New Zealand Police and youth
Senior Constable Grant Watts is a Youth Aid Officer with New Zealand Police. He has built relationships with many organisations to support rangatahi. He has escorted high-risk youth around the country in collaboration with Palmerston North’s Youth Justice facility. He leads multiple youth initiatives and served on the Ministry of Education’s National Attendance Advisory Group. He mentors Police colleagues on youth-related matters and regularly volunteers to support frontline staff and Police partners.
He is the Presiding Member of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School Board and presents educational and safety programmes to schools. Senior Constable Watts coaches at the SquashGym Squash Academy and supports the Central District Squash Representative Programme.
