Mr John Eaden, of Marton, KSM for services to the arts
Mr John Eaden was Programme Director and Manager at Ponsonby’s Outreach, subsequently known as Artstation and now Studio One. He has supported numerous young and emerging artists, artists with disabilities, and those who wanted to enter art institutions later in life. He was Chair of Artists Alliance, supporting visual artists, and Spark Studio (now Mapura), a community art space for people living with disabilities. After moving to Hawke’s Bay, Mr Eaden became President of the Keirunga Arts and Crafts Society, Chaired the Arts Inc Heretaunga Board and was President of the Hastings District Landmarks Trust.
