Mr David Harrison, of Wellington, MNZM for services to the insurance industry and the community
Mr David Harrison is Executive Chair of Ansvar Claims Services, which has had a 100 percent pay-out of claims in the rebuild of several iconic and historical Christchurch landmarks following the 2011 earthquakes. Previously, he was appointed to the government’s committee on fire services funding and the associated fire services levy.
He was a member of the Prime Ministerial Task Force on Positive Ageing. He was Chairman of the Lottery Aged Distribution Committee and a board member of the Bible Society in New Zealand.
Mr Harrison was founding Chief Executive Officer of Life Education Trust in New Zealand, teaching life skills to more than 250,000 children each year.
