Mr Ted Ford, of Richmond, KSM for services to Fire and Emergency New Zealand and the dairy industry
Mr Ted Ford has served the Appleby community as a volunteer firefighter for over 36 years, and is a Jersey New Zealand Regional Ambassador for the Upper South Island. He has been President of the Nelson Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and a committee member for the Top of the South New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards. As Chair for the Top of the South Agricultural Industry Training Organisation, he offered training on his farm to develop cadets' practical and theoretical farming knowledge. Mr Ford has been Chair of the Appleby School Committee and supports the school with educational farming visits.
