Mrs Debbie Roxburgh, of Whanganui, MNZM for services to Scottish country dancing
Mrs Debbie Roxburgh teaches at the Glendarroch Scottish Country Dance Club in Whanganui. She teaches children, adults and experienced dancers with the New Zealand branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS). She is an examiner for the RSCDS and regularly conducts examinations for new teachers in New Zealand and Australia. She has been Youth Co-ordinator, Rules Committee Convenor, and member of the New Zealand Branch Management Committee, and is President of the New Zealand RSCDS branch. Mrs Roxburgh helped establish a syllabus for medal test examinations for junior dancers, and Junior Associate Membership. She has helped organise week-long residential schools in New Zealand, and has taught at summer schools in Scotland.
