Ms Norma Roberts, of Lower Hutt, KSM for services to early childhood education
Ms Norma Roberts is General Manager of Hutt City Kindergartens, where she has contributed to research projects to strengthen teacher practice and improve the quality of early childhood education. She contributed to professional development as a committee member of Organisation Mondiale pour l’Éducation Préscolaire, and was a Member of the Care and Protection Panel for Child Youth and Family Upper Hutt. She is a member of advisory groups for Victoria University of Wellington, and Te Rito Maioha. She was a Board member of Aubert Childcare and Home of Compassion Childcare, and is a Board member for New Zealand Kindergartens.
