Mr Evan Davies, of Auckland, ONZM for services to business and governance
Mr Evan Davies was the inaugural Chief Executive of SkyCity Entertainment Group and oversaw the establishment of Sky Tower. He won Deloitte Top 200 Chief Executive of the Year and led SkyCity to win Company of the Year in 2001. He is a Trustee with the Melanesian Mission Trust Board, a Trustee with the Anglican Trust for Women and Children, a Director of the Auckland City Mission, Chair of the Tāmaki Regeneration Company, and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Auckland Arts Festival. His central and local government appointments have included Chair of the Health Capital Investment Committee, Chair of the Hospital Redevelopment Partnership Group Canterbury, Deputy Chair of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, and Board Member of Waterfront Auckland. Mr Davies is currently the Group CEO of Todd Corporation.
