For services to education. Mr Pieter Braun, who has retired in 2011, has been Principal of Redwood School in Tawa since 1991. He has a strong involvement in pastoral care. As a past President of the Wellington Regional Primary Principals’ Association, he continues to mentor and support other Wellington Principals. He has assisted various school boards of trustees as a Principal appraiser on appointment panels.
