Welcome at Westport Airport
The Governor-General, Hon Anand Satyanand, was welcomed to the West Coast by local iwi at Westport Airport on 10 March 2009. At the welcome, were from left, kaumatua and Buller District Councillor Fred Ratahi, Ngāti Waewae kaumatua Ben Hutana, Rev Richard Wallace, kaumatua of Te Rūnanga o Makaawhio and Buller Mayor, Pat McManus.
