Lloyd Morrison
Lloyd Morrison, of Wellington, received the Insignia of a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business. Mr Morrison has been involved with business for more than 20 years. In 1988, he founded and remains chairman of HRL Morrison & Co, a specialist investment management firm with interests in infrastructure, property, public-private partnerships, and agriculture and retails funds. He is a director of Auckland International Airport, Fisher Funds Management, Infratil, Infratil Airports Europe and TrustPower. He manages infrastructure investments for the New Zealand Superannuation Fund. In 2006 he was named the New Zealand Herald Business Leader of the Year. Mr Morrison has also supported the arts in New Zealand through establishing the HRL Morrison Music and Arts Trusts. He served as a trustee of the Chamber Music New Zealand Foundation and as a director of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra board.
