Dorothy Stewart
Dorothy Stewart, of Tauranga, received the Queen's Service Medal for services to senior citizens and the community. Since her retirement as a public health nurse and Plunket nurse, Mrs Stewart has been involved with the senior community in Tauranga. She is a member of Age Concern Tauranga and a board member of Age Concern New Zealand. She is involved with a wide range of community organisations, including the Tauranga Branch of the National Council of Women, the Tauranga Community Health Liaison Group, and the Tauranga University of the Third Age. She was a volunteer with the Volunteer Community Co-ordinators programme in Tauranga.
