Isitolo Pakome
Isitolo Pakome of Taupō, received the Queen's Service Medal for services to the Tokelauan community and the community. Mr Pakome has contributed to the Tokelauan community of Taupō for 35 years through his service to many community organisations. He has been President of the Catholic Tokelauan Group, Secretary of the Tokelau Island Community Group and a member of the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs National Advisory Council. He was a trustee for the National Tokelau Islanders Trust and chaired the Tokelau Island fundraising committee for 15 years. He has been involved in other community organisations, including the Taupō Māori Wardens and the Taupō Crime. Mr Pakome is the Chair of the Taupō Pasifika Charitable Trust Deed.
