Arthur Fletcher, of Paeroa
Arthur Fletcher received the Queen's Service Medal for services to returned services personnel and the community. Mr Fletcher has been assisting former servicemen and women for more than 50 years. He has been a member of various RSA committees and is a member of the Paeroa RSA. He was District President of Waikato, King Country and Bay of Plenty RSA districts from 1995 to 2004 and served nine years on the RSA National Executive Committee. In 1986 he was awarded the RSA Gold Star and Bar for his services. He is a life member of the Te Awamutu Municipal Brass Band and was its Drum Major for 10 years. Mr Fletcher has also served the Paeroa Little Theatre, the District Choir, Paeroa Rotary Club, and the Paeroa Lions.
