Dame Patsy and Frances Clarke Award recipient Stephen Williams
Stephen is an inspiring individual who was nominated by his friend Michele Ness.
Stephen, now 62 was born to Ray and Kathleen Williams, who were Anglican Missionaries in Sudan. From his early years, Stephen supported any cause, which raised money for those in need in Africa. Most predominantly participating in many 24 hour famines.
Stephen has had a long involvement in The Scouts.
Stephen's respect for all those who serve their country in uniform continues to play an important part in his life. He regularly prays for those in the New Zealand army and collects militaria, having made a large number of friends through this hobby. He annually visit the Waiouru Army Camp on his birthday and on Anzac Day attends church parades and memorial events.
