Ms Robyn Malcolm, of Auckland, MNZM for services to television and theatre
Robyn Malcolm has had an extensive acting career spanning three decades. She is well known for her roles in ‘Outrageous Fortune’, ‘Shortland Street’ and ‘Agent Anna’. Her film credits include ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, ‘The Hopes and Dream of Gazza Snell’, and the United States feature film ‘Hostiles’. She was a founding member of The New Zealand Actors Company. Ms Malcolm performed Mary Stuart in the Auckland Theatre Production of the same name, in Brecht’s ‘The Good Soul of Szechuan’, and Beckett’s one-woman piece ‘Happy Days’. She has advocated for various political, environmental and social issues in New Zealand.
