Launch of Australia New Zealand Assistance Dogs

The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, and Lady Janine Mateparae, officially launched Australia New Zealand Assistance Dogs (ANZAD) at a reception held at Government House in Auckland on the morning of 13 February 2013.
Assistance Dog organisations represented included Assistance Dogs New Zealand, Fiji Service Dogs, Hearing Dogs, Kotoku Foundation Assistance Animals Aotearoa, Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust, NZ Epilepsy Assist Dog Trust, and the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind.
