Leadership Week

The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, is leading the 2013 Dream Team as part of the Sir Peter Blake Trust 2013 Leadership Week (5 July - 12 July)

As Co-Patron of the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Trust, Sir Jerry Mateparae will be attending and speaking at the Sir Peter Blake Leadership Awards dinner at the Auckland Town Hall on Friday 5 July.  As a part of the dinner, the Governor-General will announce the 2013 Blake Medallist.  To find out more about the dinner, click here

As Leader of the Dream Team, Sir Jerry Mateparae, and Lady Janine Mateparae, will visit Whitiora School near Hamilton on Tuesday 9 July. The Sir Peter Blake Trust formed the Dream Team in 2012 with a daring dream to inspire at least 3000 kiwi kids in one hour during Leadership Week. After more than 230 leaders volunteered, some 10,000 young New Zealanders had face-to-face contact with a leader.    Members of the Dream Team will spend one hour on Tuesday 9 July during Leadership Week inspiring a classroom of Kiwi kids to Dare, Dream and Do something across all of New Zealand.
