Mr Philip Chapman, of Nelson, MNZM for services to health
Philip Chapman has been promoting better healthcare for men and their families, predominantly sexual abuse survivors, for more than 30 years. He is the Chair of Male Survivors Aotearoa and Director of the Male Room Trust. He was Chair of two MenzSheds, a Community Manager of IHC and Manager of the Nelson Neighbourhood Centre. He has previously been an Ambassador for the Movember campaign and a Justice of the Peace. He is a men’s health promoter for the District Health Board. Mr Chapman is a Consumer Board Representative on the Federation of Primary Health and a Board member of Nelson Primary Health Organisation.
