Dr Stephen Neville, of Alexandra Headland, Queensland, Australia, MNZM for services to gerontology research and seniors
Dr Stephen Neville is Professor of Nursing at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia, having held many leadership roles in tertiary education. He co-created the Centre for Active Ageing at the Auckland University of Technology. His research and publications have influenced academics, policy makers and healthcare staff. He is Associate Editor of the Australasian Journal on Ageing and Editor of the Journal of Clinical Nursing. He holds positions with the Ageing Well National Science Challenge, Age Friendly Aotearoa Advisory Board and Australasian Association of Gerontology. He was President of the New Zealand Association of Gerontology. Dr Neville is a Life Member of the College of Nurses Aotearoa.
