The Hip-Operation Crew founder, Billie Jordan, philanthropist Michael Friedlander, heritage hero George Farrant, top surgeons Dr Patrick Alley and Emeritus Professor Bryan Parry and Maori cultural advisor, the late Mauriora Kingi are amongst the people whose achievements will be celebrated at investiture ceremonies at Government House in Auckland next week.
The Governor-General, The Rt Hon Dame Patsy Reddy, and Sir David Gascoigne, will host three ceremonies at Government House Auckland on Wednesday 5 October (2.30pm), and Thursday 6 October (10am and 2.30pm).
