Envoys for India, the United States of America, Bulgaria and the Slovak Republic will present credentials to Governor-General, Hon Sir Anand Satyanand, at Government House Vogel in Lower Hutt tomorrow (9 December).
The ceremony will begin at 11 am. The New Zealand Air Force will provide the Maori Ceremonial Challenge and the Guard of Honour at tomorrow's ceremony.
Indian High Commissioner Admiral (retired) Sureesh Mehta was most recently Chief of the Indian Navy and Chairman of the Indian Chiefs of Staff Committee. He is resident in Wellington.
United States Ambassador David Huebner has until his appointment to New Zealand, been a partner in a law firm in Los Angeles, California. Mr Huebner is also resident in Wellington.
Krassimir Stefanov is Bulgaria's first Ambassador to be accredited to New Zealand. He is a career diplomat and has served in Iraq, Greece and Cyprus. He is also Bulgarian Ambassador to Australia, where he is based.
The Slovak Republic Ambassador, Eva Ponomarenkova, is also the Slovak Republic's Ambassador to Australia and resident in Canberra. She is a career diplomat and has had extensive experience within the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
