Governor-General to visit Christchurch

The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, will visit Christchurch on Friday and Saturday to open several new or refurbished facilities in the city.
 
On Friday 23 November at 2pm, Sir Jerry Mateparae will open the new Christchurch City Mission building in Hereford St. 
 
On Friday 23 November at 4pm, as Patron of YHA New Zealand, the Governor-General will reopen YHA Rolleston House on the corner of Worcester Boulevard and Rolleston Ave.
 
On Saturday 24 November at 10am, Sir Jerry Mateparae will open the west wing of the Canterbury Charity Hospital on Harewood Rd.
