While they have visited the area before, this is Sir Anand and Lady Susan’s most extensive visit to the Wairarapa, which will start with a formal welcome at Pāpāwai Marae near Greytown. Their four-day visit will include visits to Kuranui College, Mt Bruce Wildlife Centre, and Fonterra Pahiatua. Sir Anand will also officially open the Scandinavian Festival in Dannevirke.
