The Governor-General of New Zealand, Hon Anand Satyanand, today announced that Her Majesty The Queen has been pleased to award The New Zealand Bravery Star (NZBS) to two New Zealand Police officers who apprehended convicted murderer Graeme Burton in January 2007.
For security reasons, the names of the officers concerned will not be released. They are being presented with their decorations by the Governor-General at a private investiture at Government House this afternoon.
